Total Structures Inc. has two openings within the company and would like to recruit suitable people who will complement our existing team. The details of the two positions available are below.
Draughtsman - Total Structures
Firmly established as the world's leading manufacturer in the field of truss and temporary structures, Total Structures' products have received seven major awards for technical innovation in as many years, an achievement that is reflected in the service we offer our clients.
To help improve this service further we are now looking for a full-time draughtsman to complement our existing engineering staff.
Based primarily at our offices and factory in Ventura, CA you will responsible for supporting our design team in the draughting and design of truss and custom structures. Training and supervision on specific truss design will be provided, however the successful candidate must be AutoCAD 3D proficient.
Some travel, mainly domestic, may be required to support larger projects but will not constitute more than 5% of your time.

Responsibilities Include:
- Design and draughting (with supervision) of truss and other custom structures to deadlines.
- Input into other related areas such as product development, etc.
- Technical support of sales staff when necessary.
Skills Required:
- 3D Experience of AutoCAD (2005 preferable).
- Experience of Microsoft Office software.
- Understanding and commitment to excellent customer service through timely completion of workload.
- Flexibility to tailor working hours around work demand when necessary.
- Any existing experience of truss design or aluminum engineering a bonus.
- Good communication skills.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) or other language skills is a bonus.
Compensation Package:
- Basic salary with profit share. Salary dependant upon experience. Please provide expected salary details with application.

Sales Executive - Total Structures
Firmly established as the world's leading manufacturer in the field of truss and temporary structures, Total Structures' products have received seven major awards for technical innovation in as many years, an achievement that is reflected in the service we offer our clients.
To help improve this service further we are now looking for a full-time pro-active salesperson to complement our existing sales staff.
Based primarily at our offices and factory in Ventura, CA you will responsible for serving our domestic and international customers. Some travel, mainly domestic, may be required but will not constitute more than 10% of your time.
No experience of truss sales is necessary, as full training will be given, although any existing knowledge will be considered a bonus.

- Processing of sales orders and liaison with production control to ensure order commitments are met.
- Pro-active lead development and new customer growth.
- Input into other related areas such as marketing, product development, etc.

- Some experience of entertainment technology or a strong desire to learn.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of Microsoft Office software.
- Experience of AutoCAD or other CAD software a bonus.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) or other language skills is a bonus.
