Design, elegance, performance and first-rate engineering are all things we have come to expect from BMW. It can also be applied to the lighting rigs recently manufactured by Total Structures and installed at the BMW Designworks facility in Ventura County CA. The system comprises of four curved grids that can be individually positioned to provide lighting for new BMW designs as they evolve from the drawing board into solid models.
BMW approached their neighbors, Light & Sound Design to commission and install the system. As well as the custom grids manufactured by Total Structures, the motor control system was also manufactured in Ventura County by Skjonberg Controls.
